This serum is designed to visibly brighten and even skin while targeting the appearance of dark spots, fine lines, and wrinkles. Bakuchiol, nature's answer to harsh retinol, has been used for centuries in Eastern medicine and is praised as a potent, nourishing antioxidant. Recent scientific studies have shown that it is as effective as retinol at targeting signs of aging. Bakuchiol has demonstrated the ability to reduce the appearance of dark spots, fine lines, and wrinkles without irritating skin the way retinol does. We combined this super ingredient with other powerful botanicals to support the appearance of a bright and even skin tone. These super ingredients include Vitamin C, Gooseberry, Mulberry, Kakadu Plum, Baobab Seed, Licorice Root, and Ferulic Acid.
USE TIPS:
For optimal results, after allowing the Illuminate Bc+ Brightening Serum to absorb for 2-3 minutes, apply 4-7 drops of a moisturizing oil, such as our Rejuvenate Restorative Face Oil, Detox Balancing Face Oil, or Prevent Anti-Aging Face Oil. Allow oil to absorb for 3-5 minutes before applying further products.

I bought the travel size Illuminate Face serum to try. It’s a milky, white, light weight serum which glides and absorbs into the skin. It feels good to use in my morning and night routine. I am 43yo with medium tan complexion and I noticed improvement in tone and natural glowing skin. I am happier with my skin and more confident going natural using less makeup. I’m also using the Protect and Prevent facial oils too.

I love this all in one serum. Great for day but I will sometimes use it before bed if I want to do a lighter retinoid vs another retinol cream I use. I see a difference in my skin for sure

I’ve been using this for a few weeks…I AM seeing a marked improvement in skin texture and elasticity! I have some small areas of boxcar or rolling scarring on my cheeks from a recent tretinoin purge… I had been using it for months and couldn’t use it nearly as often as prescribed and I was never endingly purging. My skin wasn’t even that bad as far as active acne – and tretinoin was so harsh even buffered – it was turning my face to leather! And still breaking out/purging. Yuck. Now, I know my skin..and I can JUST do the calming and moisturizing and gentle cleansing…I do need some type of active to keep breakouts and impending age at bay…
For the few weeks I’ve been using this brightening serum and the prevent oil or restorative oil (day/night) – the scarring is so much less – they seem much more shallow, not at all as noticeable.. my face is much smoother and the tone way more even. I’m very pale.. everything shows on my skin.. id love to not wear foundation and feel good about it. This is the first time in a long while I feel like that’s an achievable goal.
Stop annihilating your moisture barriers my friends! If you can afford to spend on skincare – go for it. I’m picky, sensitive, highly critical, highly skeptical…and I would not be bothered to write a glowing (like my skin) review unless I ACTUALLY believed it.

Love the Illuminate BC serum. Been using for 3 months now, applying to my clean face after warm shower and following with the Rejuvenate Restorative face oil. My skin complexion and texture is the best at age 41 than it has ever been!
